Regular meeting of the Town of Sherburne Town Board held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Office of the Supervisor. Present: Supervisor Mastro, Councilpersons Wern, Krum, Bagnall, Hwy Superintendent Bob Brunschmid, Town Clerk McDaniel, Absent: Councilman Meyer, Code Enforcement Officer Andrews. Guests present: Kathy Yasas and Rose Tenney.
Pledge

Approval of February 13, 2012 Minutes
Motion by Bagnall and seconded by Wern to approve minutes of February 13, 2013. Supervisor Mastro – Aye; Councilpersons Wern – Aye; Krum – Aye; Bagnall – Aye. Carried.
Bids for Mower Opened and Reviewed
J&J Equipment – 2009 model– 688 hours -$34,400
Monroe Tractor – 2011 – 311 hours – $38,319
Anderson Equipment – 2012 – 210 hours – $36,444
Tracey Equipment – one new and unused 2013 – $44,471
Motion by Bagnall and seconded by Krum to allow Hwy .Superintendent Bob Brunschmid to review bids and chose the bidder following the closest specs. Supervisor Mastro – Aye; Councilpersons Wern – Aye; Krum – Aye; Bagnall – Aye. Carried.
Supervisor’s Report, Town Clerk’s Report
Supervisor’s Report and Town Clerk’s Report accepted and reviewed. Annual fund balance sheet accepted and reviewed. Code Officer’s Report for March 2013 will be included in April 2013 minutes.
Narrowband Radios
Supervisor Mastro called Doreen Rowe, Asst. Supt. for BOCES. They will be working on an agreement for the radios with all involved parties.
Natural Gas Update
Citizens Gas Task force has met twice. Councilwoman Krum is on the committee of the Citizens’ Task Force. Discussion held.
Historic Park Building
Discussion held on the building of the historic park building. Plans for the building have changed. The Smith Foundation wanted another set of plans and a blueprint. The Historic Park Committee is asking $40,000 from the Smith Foundation and they have collected $40,000 through donations.
Tompkins Matteson Painting
Appraisal has been done and the cost is $1200 for the appraisal. The appraiser is asking to be paid first before his estimate of the worth of the painting is revealed. The Library and Town are working together to transfer funds $5,000.00 out of the Library’s Washington at Valley Forge Fund to a Restoration Fund for use of art restoration and appraisals of paintings at the Library.
Recreation and Community Park Agreements
Motion by Wern and seconded by Bagnall to allow Supervisor Mastro to sign the Recreation and Community Park Agreement. Supervisor Mastro – Abstain; Councilpersons Wern – Aye; Krum – Aye; Bagnall – Aye. Carried.
Approval of March 2013 Bills
Motion by Krum and seconded by Wern to approve bills for March. Supervisor Mastro – Aye; Councilpersons Wern – Aye; Krum – Aye; Bagnall – Aye. Carried.
Approval of bills for April 2013 Councilman Meyer.
Discussion held on county code inspection and apartments.
